Presenting absurd arguments that mirror the logic of historical revisionists, the Mad Revisionist takes on Holocaust denying organization, such as the Institute for Historical Review (IHR). Like the Flying Spaghetti Monster’s response to pseudo science, the Mad Revisionists exposes the absurdity of Holocaust deniers by using their own logic and augment structures to deny everything and reinterpret the world.
Regardless of overwhelming evidence and first hand accounts, Holocaust deniers can assert any absurd argument they like by falling back on the classic philosophical question: if a tree falls in a forest, and nobody is there, does it make a sound? Given that all past events cannot be directly seen, all history can be denied or reformulated to serve the interests of anybody. The Mad Revisionist plays on this by applying the revisionist historian’s logic in humorous ways. The subject matter is serious, but the Mad Revisionist shows that revisionists are indeed mad, by using their own logic to deny the obvious.
